of the Month for May 2006
Linda Lewis
 I would like to nominate my mom, Linda Lewis, as this month's
Person of the Month in honor of Mother's Day and her birthday
on May 21st. I have many wonderful memories of my mom throughout
the years. When I was a child she went out of her way to
make me feel special and loved like spending hours making
me a perfect birthday cake in whatever shape I wanted! She
took me to skating lessons and supported me in whatever I
chose to do. As I grew up and started making decisions about
my life I remember her telling me that I could do whatever
I wanted and no one could tell me differently. She encouraged
me to be a leader and positive role model through volunteering,
coaching and being involved in community activities.
 Though we may have had some ups and downs through the years,
my love for her grows stronger every day and I want to take
this moment to say thanks for being a mom that is easy to
love and for supporting me in many choices, heartaches, achievements
and adventures along the way.
I love you mom! Happy Mother's Day and Happy Birthday!
