Archetype: The
rebel sex god or goddess. You are the type of person every
mother warns their child about! You don't plan to break all
the rules, you just don't care about them. You tend to focus
your passion and life goals on instant gratification.
Stone: Opal: Opal has been treasured throughout
history all around the world. It is an old myth that anyone who
does not have the opal as a birthstone will be receivers of bad
luck should they choose to wear it.
Ruling Planet: Pluto:Pluto is commonly
known for its power of transformation. With its long cycle
through each zodiacal sign, its position in the birth chart
and primary planetary aspect is far more important. Pluto's
aspect to the Moon and other bodies can indicate the lessons
gained from past lives, and what lessons need to be learned
in this life. It represents the complete evolution and transformation
of the soul through personal crisis which leads to massive
changes in our priorities. Pluto portrays the higher order
of our spiritual evolution and a purifying element between
dimensions--a heavenly gate that throws back negative energy
from its source and not necessarily immediately.
When Zeus became king of the gods, he gave
an empire to each of his brothers. The entire underworld was
made subject to Plouton/Pluto. The kingdom of his brother, Neptune,
was the primeval stream, called the Oceanus. This primal river
is only surrounded by the banks of Hades/Pluto, the underworld.
Translated into psychological concepts, it is often mentioned
that everything originates out of the primeval source; where
the individual slowly emerges out of that which is still embedded
in the collective. Thus Hades/Pluto may also be seen as the symbol
for power and its influence on the masses.
Defining Animal: Bark Scorpion: This type
of scorpion is very venomous, it is nocturnal and will be found
in areas around moisture or outside lights where food sources
are known to gather such as beetles, cockroaches, crickets,
and moths.
Health Problems: Scorpio rules the pelvis,
reproductive organs and the urinary system. You may often have
problems with the liver and kidneys. Also, due to your possessive
nature, you may have problems with ulcers. Because it also
rules the productive organs, if you are having any problems
you should have them checked out immediately by a doctor.
You likely enjoy competitive sports - any
type of sport that is physically and emotionally challenging.
You may also enjoy any type of water sport from high diving
to scuba diving.
