Archetype:
The Wanderer. You are likely always looking
for something better. You are an inspiration to many and bring
hope and happiness wherever you go. The one downfall is that
no one gets a chance to know the real you because you never
stay in one place long enough.
Stone: Topaz: This gem comes in many different
colors and is a member of the quartz group. It aids in bringing
forth your leadership qualities and enables you to grasp control
of any situation you confront in life. Topaz makes you feel
more in control of yourself of the situations you encounter
and helps you deal with them in a competent fashion. It helps
you take the lead and can handle things in a competent fashion.
Tradition has it that Topaz helped foretell the future, enhance
sexual energy, and promotes harmony. During the Middle Ages
topaz was thought to heal both physical and mental disorders
and prevent death. The Greeks believed it had power to increase
strength and to make its wearer invisible while the Romans
believed it had power to improve eyesight. The Egyptians wore
it as an amulet to protect them from injury.
Ruling Planet: Jupiter: Jupiter is symbolically
related to expansiveness, optimism, generosity, and a love
of freedom and new experiences. It is the expansion and expression
of your self through wise judgment and fun. The energies of
this planet allow you to grow through burdens and challenges
and shows where you are most expansive in your personality.
It also provides a relationship with the universe in the form
of religion and philosophy, and a sense of legal justice whether
manmade or natural.
In mythology, Zeus/Jupiter seeks reason and fairness in disputes.
He is compassionate to all those who help and conform, yet penalizes
those who abuse mankind with self-infliction. The mythical god
of Zeus/Jupiter does have a dark side. Vanity is involved in
many of his love-affairs, and he may show arrogance, arbitrary
delight and boundless ignorance. This god generally insists on
preference and privileges.
Defining Animal: Centaur: The Greek love
for the horse led to the ennoblement of the centaur in myth
and legend. The centaur, Chiron, was known for his wisdom and
healing abilities. Nessus was killed by Hercules for trying
to rape a woman under his charge, and other centaurs were renowned
for their weakness for drink. The centaur symbolizes mankind's
dual nature as an intellectual creature (the human half) which
was also a physical animal (the horse half).
Health Problems:Sagittarius governs the
hips, thighs, and sacral areas of the lower back. You may commonly
suffer from hip and thigh problems and are prone to sciatica
and rheumatism. You may also have poor hair, skin, and nails
due to silicon deficiencies. As you often take part in sports,
especially dangerous ones, you are prone to accidents. The
ancient astrologers mention falls and injuries from horses
and other four-footed beasts. The taking of risks in other
sports is a danger to the modern Sagittarian, and you are also
prone to accidents with fire and heat such as scalding and
sun burns.
About Sagittarians: Sagittarians have
a positive outlook on life, are full of enterprise, energy,
versatility, adventure, and eagerness to extend experience
beyond the physically familiar. You enjoy traveling and exploration,
more so because your mind is constantly open to new dimensions
of thought. You are basically ambitious and optimistic, and
continue to be so even when your hopes are dashed. Your strong
idealistic nature can also suffer many disappointments without
