Archetype: The rule maker and authority figure. Whatever you
say should be the way it is. There is no room for negotiation
because once your mind is made up, there is nothing in the entire
world that will change it.
Stone: Black
Onyx: Onyx is a type of agate that is recognized by the alternating,
parallel bands of black and white. It is used for carving cameos.
Ruling Planet: Saturn: In
mythology, Kronos/Saturn is the god who swallowed his children
because of fear that they would kill him. He had killed his
father, in order to gain power. However, the children are not
killed as they are regurgitated. So fear might be the driving
force behind his actions, which can only be defeated and overcome
when everything is under control. During the time when Kronos
ruled over the gods, men were first created, as this was called
the Golden Age.
Saturn represents experience, tradition,
examination of the new, the course of time, as well as patience.
It is called the planet of fate. Saturn concentrates everything,
even until the bitter end, no matter what is finally left.
It is the tester of knowledge and consolidates our life lessons
preventing us from moving forward before we are ready. The
serious task is symbolized here, the moving forward, even under
trouble and strife.
Defining Animal: Goat: The goat is a surefooted
animal. Due to its hooves, with cushioned skid-proof pads for
grip, the goat is very agile. This animal has a narrow head
with slender, black horns that rise in a backward curve about
10-12 inches. The coat is white and on the chin is a double
beard of long hair.
Health Problems: Capricorn rules the knees,
bones and skin so is prone to fractures and strains, especially
to the knees. You may also have problems with skin disease,
anemia, and digestive problems which are mainly caused by your
tendency to worry or suppress emotions. As you age, your joints
will likely experience more stiffness so it is important to
continue exercising and moving.
You are likely a good athlete and would enjoy rock and mountain
climbing. You also enjoy golf, which is not only good for mobility
but great for social activities as well. Remember while you are
out climbing in the mountains, take your sunscreen and use moisturizer
because your skin will feel the cold air.
